ARTISTIC STATEMENT
This project seeks to explore the fragile, complicated terrain of accountability, grace, and healing. It asks how we live with our mistakes, how we extend forgiveness without erasing harm, and how community can become a source of restoration rather than judgment.
Rather than sensationalizing violence, the narrative is concerned with the aftermath—the psychological, social, and ethical questions that arise when society must decide what accountability, transformation, and humanity look like in their most extreme form. The focus is not on the crimes themselves, but on the uneasy, often uncomfortable space between condemnation and the possibility of change.
We invite audiences to interrogate their own perceptions of guilt and forgiveness, and to consider how compassion can be an act of survival. At its core, the story asks what it means to hold one another up, and to remain united, even in the darkest of circumstances.
